Job Summary
Senior Digital Technology and Security Implementation Specialist to support federal digital transformation initiatives, bridging IT, cloud, and cybersecurity with agile change management. Collaborate with technical teams to define change requirements, conduct policy evaluations to modernize security protocols, develop and deliver training plans, and advocate for a security-by-design approach. Lead risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities; at senior level, oversee large-scale technology implementations, advise executive leadership on cybersecurity strategy, mentor junior staff, and integrate security controls into enterprise systems. Requires strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s preferred. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP desirable; familiar with NIST/ISO 27001 frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT, cloud engineering, or cybersecurity with a focus on implementation and policy
- Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and change management principles
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are highly desirable
- Strong understanding of modern security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate across diverse stakeholders
