Digital Technology Lead – Data and AI

Job Summary

Develop and execute a pragmatic AI roadmap prioritizing high-value use cases that improve productivity, cycle time, and business decisions across clinical, regulatory, medical affairs, and commercial functions. Lead adoption of enterprise AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise while defining a scalable data infrastructure that integrates internal and external sources to support operational reporting and executive dashboards. Partner with Quality, Legal, and business owners to ensure data and AI solutions are secure, compliant with GxP and privacy standards, and aligned with inspection-readiness expectations. Establish delivery practices, governance forums, and success metrics to translate business needs into actionable data products and AI capabilities within a rapidly scaling biotech environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, digital technology, AI, or enterprise platforms, preferably in biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another regulated industry
  • Experience implementing enterprise AI tools, generative AI platforms, AI assistants, automation, machine learning, or advanced analytics use cases that improve productivity, quality, cycle time, or business decision-making
  • Experience building AI enablement programs, AI champion networks, prompt libraries, governance committees, or responsible AI adoption programs
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT Enterprise, enterprise AI assistants, knowledge management platforms, or AI-enabled workflow tools
  • Experience defining and implementing data strategy, data platforms, reporting capabilities, data governance, and analytics operating models in a growing organization
  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms and analytics tools such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or comparable technologies
  • Familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, data integrity expectations, computer system validation, and audit-ready documentation
