Job Summary
Digital Technical Pre-Sales Leader – Completions, Intervention, & Measurement: Lead cross-functional efforts to translate customer needs into technical requirements and integrated Baker Hughes solutions, coordinating Product, Implementation, and Sales to define technical proposals and generate effective demonstrations. Responsibilities include leading functional design specifications with clients, staying current with industry trends to deliver innovative solutions, participating in client meetings to articulate technical concepts and demonstrate value, developing impactful product demonstrations, and prioritizing and planning regional implementation activities. The role requires collaboration with customers, sales resources, and technical experts to deliver customer value, and to lead initiatives of large scope and impact, with strong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Digital Oil Field projects
- Proven ability to influence others and work within multi-disciplinary teams
- Direct experience overcoming the technical challenges associated with software deployment and digital solutions
- Demonstrated ability in oilfield completions, well intervention, or downhole monitoring technology
- Strong sales process understanding and management (pipeline and territory management, customer prioritization and engagement)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Effective problem identification and solutioning skills
- Proven analytical and organizational ability
- Desire to be a thought leader and excited to champion internally and externally
- Passion to solve complex customer challenges
- Ability to show and deliver value to the customer
