Digital Tax (Data Scientist) - Senior Associate

Job Summary
Develop front-end and back-end frameworks to support various Tax-technology applications, including rapid prototyping to demonstrate PoCs and MVPs and scaling prototypes into products. Collaborate with internal stakeholders or clients to help them understand the value of data through analytics and visualization. Build predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical techniques to extract insights and drive product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies. Develop, utilize, and maintain predictive/LLM models to identify targeted business outcomes, measure risk, and optimize user experiences. Use data and models to support risk mitigation strategies while preserving user experience. Manage end-to-end projects, clarify requirements, and stay current on industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in a Quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) with at least 2-3 years of working experience
- Proficient in statistical modelling, data mining, machine learning
- Experience visualising/presenting data for stakeholders
- Experience in a data analytics role within a financial or professional services firm or engineering capacity
- Programming experience in SQL, Python, Cloud platforms and other relevant technical skills
- Familiarity with LLMs and related knowledge will be preferred
- Good written/verbal communication and ability to convey complex ideas to clients and internal staff
