Job Summary
Digital Solution Architect to design end-to-end architectures for IT/OT-enabled digital solutions in the power grid space. Lead cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust, secure, and scalable architectures across the full software development lifecycle. Define reference architectures, govern cloud-native/microservices-based designs supporting SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid deployments, and embed security-by-design. Drive adoption of new technologies, guide proof-of-concept activities, and enable AI-enabled capabilities such as analytics and intelligent recommendations. Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines, and communicate trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT, Electrical, or related field) with minimum 8+ years of proven experience in solution or application architecture, software development, and enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of software and application design principles, object-oriented programming, and architectural patterns.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with UML and architecture modeling techniques, with a proven track record in producing high-quality architectural documentation.
- Hands-on experience in software development using technologies such as C#/.NET, Java, Angular/React; NodeJS or Python is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of web-based and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and REST APIs, containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and messaging/event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with authentication/SSO concepts (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Linux, scripting, networking fundamentals, VPNs, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with agile development methodologies, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to interact with global stakeholders.
