Job Summary
Define, develop, and validate complex Pointing, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) algorithms for satellite constellations and laser communication systems. Create reference models and simulations using C-code to verify mathematical models, then specify and document these algorithms as the basis for gateware specifications. Coordinate software and gateware development, ensuring verification and commissioning on target hardware while generating VHDL code for FPGA implementation. Manage SW/GW release plans to maintain consistency across software, gateware, and hardware releases, and oversee all associated technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Akademischer Abschluss in Nachrichtentechnik, Elektrotechnik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Physik oder Ähnlichem (Master/Diplom/Promotion)
- Expertise im Bereich Navigationsalgorithmen, insbesondere Pointing, Navigation und Timing
- Tiefe Kenntnisse in der algorithmischen Modellierung (idealerweise C) und der direkten Hardware-Implementierung (VHDL/FPGA)
- Erfahrung in der Rolle als technischer Systemverantwortlicher (Technical Responsible) in komplexen Embedded-Projekten
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Awareness of any potential compliance risks
- Commitment to act with integrity
