Job Summary
Digital Signal Processing Electrical & Computer Engineer needed to design and demonstrate DSP-based RF/SIGINT capabilities for electromagnetic spectrum battle management. Develop and implement DSP for RF sensing, detection, isolation, identification, waveform generation, and adaptive processing in a lab environment, with the goal of guiding DoD clients toward advanced technical solutions. Key responsibilities include applying signal processing theory to wireless systems, working with SDR toolchains (GNUradio, Ettus UHD), optimizing embedded software, and contributing to demonstrations of state-of-the-art techniques for RF communications and electronic warfare. Requires experience in C/C++/Rust, Linux, SDRs, RF theory, and the ability to travel up to 25% regionally; a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required, with security clearance eligibility expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Experience with wireless communications systems and signal processing theory and application
- Experience with Linux, C, C++, or Rust
- Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) toolkits and standards such as GNUradio and Ettus UHD
- Experience with Signal Processing Techniques and RF Theory
- Experience with embedded software development, code optimization, and multi-threading
- Knowledge of DSP and DSP algorithm development
- Ability to travel regionally up to 25% of the time
- Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
