Job Summary
DSE Local Lead for Switzerland & Austria responsible for operationalizing the V&I Medical Modernization strategy locally, driving omnichannel digital scientific engagement across Therapeutic Areas, building and managing a regional roster of digital Scientific Leaders, adapting global content for local use, guiding country medical teams in omnichannel engagement, and measuring impact with analytics dashboards (Veeva CRM/VVMC). Collaborates with regional and local Medical Affairs teams, Legal/Compliance, and cross-functional partners to scale best practices, ensure scientific accuracy, and enable transformation of medical affairs workflows. Requires a Master’s degree in a technical field or Life Sciences, 3–5 years in Medical Affairs or related function, digital engagement experience, familiarity with HCP engagement platforms, strong stakeholder and change-management skills, and fluent English (local language preferred); based in country with no relocation offered. Also notes hybrid work arrangement in Switzerland (Zurich) and Austria (Vienna).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in engineering, computer science, data science and/or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine
- 3–5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs or a relevant professional function within a multinational pharmaceutical environment or relevant industry
- Demonstrated digital savviness through experiences like implementing digital engagement or omnichannel initiatives at country or cluster level
- Familiarity with Veeva CRM or similar HCP engagement platforms
- Strong stakeholder management, project delivery and change management skills; able to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Fluent English; proficiency in local language(s) preferred
- Based in the relevant country/cluster and eligible to work locally; no relocation offered
