Job Summary

Leading initiatives to modernise processes and systems within BNZ Markets, implementing automated AI-enabled solutions and owning the AI enablement strategy. Embed in cross-functional delivery across Markets Specialists, Technology, Product, and Treasury to prioritise features, remove blockers, and ship outcomes. Translate business priorities into a well-managed delivery roadmap, leveraging AI, data, and analytics to drive evidence-based innovation, onboarding and pricing tools, API-enabled capabilities, and customer-facing platform enhancements. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across Markets, Technology, Risk, and external partners to ensure alignment and momentum. Champion continuous improvement and apply emerging technologies to accelerate productivity and enhance the customer experience. The role requires a minimum of 7+ years in Finance or Banking with senior delivery experience, Agile delivery leadership, and strong communication for commercial discussions; a tertiary (and postgraduate) qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years Finance or Banking experience
  • Agile delivery experience
  • Experience with AI platforms and leveraging AI to transform business processes
  • Proficiency in SQL and querying large production databases
  • Strong data and BI tooling capability for sales growth and customer insights
  • Tertiary qualification in Economics, Finance, Computer or Data Science; Post-graduate qualification desirable
