Job Summary

Lead multi-market digital sales efforts to grow digital revenue across markets for TEGNA’s local outlets. Recruit, train, and develop a team (Account Executive, Account Manager) and oversee performance to achieve individual and collective digital goals. Build strategies to win clients, manage key local accounts, coach staff during client meetings and in proposals, identify market potential through lead generation, analyze accounts to optimize marketing executions, and maintain forecasting and reporting. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and presentation skills with expertise in digital solutions and analytics are required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of successful digital sales and account engagement experience with 2 years of team management experience
  • Track record of exceeding sales goals in digital media advertising, including OTT
  • Established leadership skills with ability to develop high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker and disciplined executor
  • Strong presenter and communicator with internal and external customers and partners
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Analytics, Wide Orbit Sales, Salesforce, Wide Orbit Traffic & Wide Orbit Analytics, ComScore, Matrix, Media Monitors, Tableau
