Job Summary
Digital Sales Manager responsible for developing and implementing online sales strategies to grow digital revenue, planning and strategic growth of digital products, expanding internet advertising base, and new business development. Leads sales training, mentors account executives, and collaborates with the VP of Sales to drive cross-media revenue. Oversees digital sales products, inventory management, and pricing strategies; forecasts revenue and builds business plans to exceed budgets; manages the digital sales pipeline and AE budgets; builds strong relationships with account executives, agencies, and advertisers; collaborates on brainstorming for creative marketing promotions leveraging digital and direct mail assets; shares best practices for digital knowledge across the sales team and clients; partners with administration and corporate digital teams on growth initiatives; travel is required. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising (or equivalent experience) and proven digital sales experience, with ability to engage leaders at multiple levels and close deals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience preferred
- demonstrated experience in Digital Sales with a track record of success
- must meet new clients and develop relationships at multiple leadership levels
- must be able to travel
- strong negotiation and closing skills, excellent organization, and reasoning skills
- criminal background check required as a condition of employment
