Job Summary
Digital Reporter for legal proceedings responsible for recording and managing the official audio record using digital audio technology. Roles include participating in depositions and hearings, administering oaths, transporting and operating recording equipment for in-person/remote proceedings, preparing audio files and exhibits for transcription, and providing administrative support when not in proceedings. Training and AAERT certification support are provided, with guidance available to obtain a State Notary Commission. The position is hybrid, based in Tampa, FL, with MondayâFriday hours and 8:30 AMâ5:30 PM schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Typing speed 55+ WPM (typing test required)
- Tech-Savvy with computers, software, and audio equipment
- Notary: ability to obtain State Notary Commission (assistance provided; existing Notary a plus)
- AAERT Certification: Training and certification provided prior to start date
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate and transport audio recording equipment for in-person and remote proceedings
