Job Summary
Design, develop, and test radio frequency and microwave systems architecture, specifically focusing on digital receivers and exciters. Conduct test readiness reviews, generate test procedures and reports, and perform RF measurements and data reduction for highly integrated subsystems including antenna hardware. Lead a team of antenna design engineers and RF analysts through integration, test, and analysis of complex systems while mentoring junior engineers. Present technical concepts to internal and external customers and resolve moderately complex technical problems. Requires a STEM degree with 5–8 years of experience, active Secret clearance, and proficiency in MATLAB and Python. Salary ranges from $108,800 to $203,600 based on level, with relocation assistance available for Baltimore, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access
- Experience with Digital Receivers/Exciters
- Experience using RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, O-scopes)
- Must be able collaborate in a team environment
- Must be able to lead and develop teams
- Experience presenting complex technical programs and concepts to non-technical personnel and customers
- Able to develop technical solutions to complex problems
- Experience using MATLAB, Python
- Experience with high rate production hardware, tools and processes or hardware designed for space environments
- Experience with debugging hardware and working through test failures
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5 years of professional experience
- Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience
- PhD with 1 year of professional experience
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience using modeling tools such as STK
