Digital Project Manager (Open to Tier 1 & 2 applicants)

Job Summary
The Digital Project Manager will manage and coordinate UNDP Ghana’s digital project activities, including developing detailed implementation plans (product roadmaps, budgets, procurement), overseeing delivery for high-quality outputs, coordinating with country office colleagues and partners, and ensuring alignment with UNDP digital standards and governance. Key responsibilities include managing adaptive implementation cycles, ensuring sustainability through technology choices and data governance, conducting technical reviews, integrating gender equality and digital inclusion, administering contracting processes and consultant management, building and maintaining partnerships, supporting resource mobilization, and organizing training and knowledge sharing. Required skills include strong project management, experience with digital transformation and ICT projects, stakeholder engagement with UN agencies and government, and proficiency with standard office and web-based management tools. Education and experience must align with advanced or combined bachelor’s degree with relevant years, fluency in English, and a willingness to collaborate across multiple national and international partners.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of progressively responsible relevant experience at the national or international level in project management, digital transformation, hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects with digital technology components, and/or leading and managing large scale ICT projects
