Job Summary
Support, operate, and maintain digital solutions within the Wells Digital Platform by updating product roadmaps, refining backlog priorities, and driving trade-off decisions to maximize business value. Lead sprint planning, articulate user stories, and define success metrics while collaborating with IT resources and global teams to ensure alignment with the Wells functional vision. Provide day-to-day operations support through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and application upgrades, partnering with global customers to address break-fixes and enhancements. Manage application interfaces with SQL databases and API integrations, ensuring seamless deployment across new sites and adherence to security, problem, and change management protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering
- Minimum CGPA 7.5 and above
- Minimum 5 total years of work experience in Oil and Gas Industry specializing in Drilling, Completions, or Workovers
- 3 years of experience in related fields such as Applications Support and Business Analysis
- 1 year of field-related experience in Drilling, Completions, or Workovers
- Knowledge of Scrum or SAFe
- Skilled at eliciting and articulating requirements into clear backlog items
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile principles
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog management systems
- Proficiency with software tools and digital applications used on rig/frac sites
- Strong digital awareness
- Ability to utilize technology to solve problems and complete tasks
- Understanding of the importance of data for making informed business decisions

- Fundamental knowledge of processes and tools related to Change Management
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with multiple engineering basins
- Familiarity with engineering design processes such as casing design, directional planning, and completion design
