Job Summary
Digital Product Manager responsible for defining and delivering one or more products in Allstate's growing product portfolio; supports strategic product vision, discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize customer and enterprise value; partners with Business Architects and stakeholders to define go-to-market and communications strategies for products; drives the UMP journey across the claims process using innovative technology; applies Human-Centered design and Design Thinking to understand customer and employee needs, generate ideas, and influence decisions; owns the product backlog, facilitates inceptions, and ensures KPIs and iterative deliverables with a bias for acceleration; collaborates with software engineering teams in an Agile environment and participates in XP ceremonies; seeks opportunities through customer feedback and market data to refine product and experience strategy; desirable exposure to claims/insurance contexts and emerging technologies such as AI/ML; compensation is announced as 0.00 - 0.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications; Allstate states it generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position and emphasizes a comprehensive technology setup and home-work requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience conducting product scoping, discovery, framing, owning and managing a backlog in an Agile environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience delivering features for digital products with user focused design
- Demonstrated ownership of breaking down product features into user stories with defined acceptance criteria
- Experience working daily with software engineering teams, evidenced by participation in XP team ceremonies (e.g., iteration planning meetings, retros, demos)
- Experience delivering product work within a multi-team or enterprise-scale technology environment, including managing dependencies and sequencing deliverables
- Desirable Skills: experience in claims, insurance, or regulated domain; experience applying emerging technologies (AI/ML) to define or deliver product enhancements
