Job Summary
Digital Producer for Norton Lifetime Learning, focused on Norton Mental Health Media and continuing education projects. The role oversees digital projects from conception through publication within the Digital Publishing, Production, and Design group, coordinating with editorial, media, manuscript, design, metadata, distribution, and ecommerce teams. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, QA, and ensuring on-time delivery of assets such as Norton Illumine ebooks, EPUBs, videos, and downloadable materials; producing videos (including AWS hosting setup, captions, and accessibility considerations); managing interactive assets, metadata, and file preparation; setting up and managing workspaces in CMSs (GitLab) and on AWS; and coordinating with vendors and freelancers. The position requires strong project management, collaboration with remote teams, experience with version control, HTML/CSS knowledge, and a focus on accessibility and usability best practices. The role is fully remote with potential occasional travel and requires full business hours compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of video production experience
- 1-2 years of digital content production experience (publishing, web design/development, CMS management, etc.)
- Experience collaborating with remote teams
- Experience maintaining version control for large, dependency-heavy projects
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
- Strong organization, independence, discipline, and self-motivation
- Excellent written and verbal communication and responsiveness
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated systems-thinking and a holistic understanding of interconnected processes and improvements
- Interest in the evolving publishing industry
- Interest in accessibility and usability best practices for educational products
- Employment eligibility to work with W.W. Norton & Company in the US is required.
