Job Summary
Digital Printer Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:00pm) at Vericast in Salt Lake City. Responsible for coordinating jobs in the Digital Printing process, creating host jobs, processing job tickets, sorting by printer, releasing jobs from the manufacturing system, loading stock, producing documents with a digital printer, and performing quality inspections. Includes minor maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing transfer assist blade, adjusting barcode reader and air knife, replacing MICR toner bottle, cleaning sensors). Requires experience with Windows-based programs, 0-3 years printing experience, PC skills, solid mechanical reasoning, and strong organization/multitasking abilities. Physical duties include standing up to 8 hours and lifting up to 70 lbs occasionally. Offers a comprehensive benefits package; salary is hourly with DOE and a shift differential. EEO employer.
