Job Summary
Operate digital commercial printers using Fiery Command Workstation to produce B&W and color jobs, calibrating color devices and running proof copies against work orders. Manage daily production by prioritizing jobs with the scheduler, updating status in the MIS system, and completing quality assurance documents. Control waste and inventory by tracking usage, maintaining equipment logs, and performing required maintenance while keeping the work environment clean. Assist the large format department with vehicle graphics and wall mural installations when available. Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with no weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task and organize several activities and tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, if needed.
- Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment.
- Can perform basic bindery functions.
- Is proficient with the use of Command Workstation (if applicable) to control digital workflow.
Desired Qualifications
- Digital printing experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiar and comfortable with Fiery Print Controller, a plus.
- Graphic design skills are preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
