Job Summary
Operate and maintain Xerox and Ricoh digital press equipment while producing high-quality printed products that meet customer specifications. Read job tickets to determine setup specifications, set up print jobs using proper techniques, and inspect equipment before and after each production run. Monitor product quality for accuracy, size, warp, and appearance; perform routine preventative maintenance and minor mechanical repairs. Submit maintenance work orders for equipment issues, maintain accurate production records, and keep the work area clean and safe. Remove damaged materials using hand tools as needed and utilize measuring tools to verify product dimensions. Support other departments to maximize production efficiency and perform assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and maintaining digital printing equipment or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of digital printing equipment and processes
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail and color accuracy
- Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair experience
- Basic computer skills for entering production data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Experience using measuring devices such as rulers, calipers, and micrometers
- Ability to identify common packaging and print defects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
