Job Summary
Operate, set up, and adjust the EFI Nozomi 18000 digital press for various print jobs and substrates while monitoring quality and troubleshooting production issues. Read job tickets and layouts, verify paper stocks, and ensure accurate registration on two-sided printing. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and documentation, and coordinate with leadership and maintenance personnel to minimize downtime. Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies and operating procedures. 3rd shift (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) with a rotating schedule of 3 days one week and 4 days the next, including Saturdays and Sundays every other week.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift materials as required
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Basic understanding of color reproduction and print quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Must be available for rotating schedule of 3 days one week and 4 days the next week
- Must be available to work Saturday/Sunday every other week
- Must be able to comply with all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures
- Must be able to complete required production, maintenance, inventory, and quality documentation
- Must be able to follow production schedules and coordinate with leadership and maintenance personnel as needed
- Must be able to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Must be able to operate, set up, and adjust the EFI Nozomi 18000 digital press
- Must be able to monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments as needed
- Must be able to troubleshoot equipment, print quality, and production issues to minimize downtime
- Must be able to perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the press and related equipment
- Must be able to operate pre-feed systems and coating units safely and efficiently
- Must be able to ensure accurate front-to-back registration on two-sided printing jobs
- Must be able to verify correct paper stocks, substrates, and materials prior to production
- Must be able to monitor machine status, error messages, and consumable levels
- Must be able to safely set up, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the EFI Nozomi 18000 digital press
- Must be able to produce high-quality printed products that meet customer specifications
- Must be able to adhere to company safety and quality standards
