Job Summary
Operate and manage digital printing presses and finishing machines, adjusting color profiles, paper sizes, and resolution to achieve desired print quality. Upload and format digital files, calibrate presses, and inspect materials for color consistency, sharpness, and alignment. Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and minor repairs, while identifying and resolving issues related to print quality and equipment performance. Monitor production schedules to prioritize multiple jobs and ensure timely completion, maintaining accurate records of specifications and maintenance logs. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Full-time role with medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, and discretionary bonus. Located in Lincolnshire, IL, with on-site fitness center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training in printing technology or a related field is preferred
- At least 1 year of proven experience operating digital printing equipment
- Knowledge of digital presses
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel
- Ability to use other job-related software
- Strong understanding of digital printing processes
