Job Summary
Execute daily workflow schedules, perform job setups, and conduct quality checks on digital press and finishing gear. Operate department equipment as assigned, perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting, and ensure production standards are met. Maintain an organized workstation and follow operational policies while supporting customer service and company growth goals. Rotate between digital presses and finishing stations as needed. This role supports a family-owned business focused on cutting-edge technical knowledge and best-value pricing.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Extensive knowledge of printing and related processes
- Excellent working knowledge of the department equipment
- Must be flexible with work schedule
- Above average mechanical skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, and standing
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Must be able to work well with diverse groups or individuals
- Must be able to carry out multi-task projects simultaneously
- Must be able to understand and clearly communicate the company's vision
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop or kneel
- Ability to use hands and arms to type, reach, handle or feel
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Printing/Finishing experience a plus, but not necessary
