Job Summary
Define and own the multi-year strategy for ASME's Digital Engineering Knowledge Platform, integrating standards intelligence into engineering ecosystems including CAD, PLM, MBSE, and AI-powered tools. Establish a unified digital platform connecting technical content, APIs, and AI-enabled services while exploring interoperability protocols like MCP and semantic standards. Own the roadmap for customer-facing capabilities such as AI retrieval, metadata services, and developer APIs, translating business priorities into executable backlogs. Partner with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and AI teams to drive adoption, monitor KPIs, and lead commercialization of embedded engineering intelligence and machine-access licensing. Prioritize scalable growth across business units and external standards ecosystems while establishing governance for AI agent licensing and digital commerce.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise across the following areas
- AI-enabled products, semantic platforms, or knowledge-driven ecosystems
- Building and scaling platform ecosystems
- Operating within IP-sensitive, regulated, or high-trust domains
- Platform economics, monetization strategies, and ecosystem growth models
- Orchestrating cross-functional product portfolios across multiple business units or product lines
- Periodic business travel
- NYC (headquarters), NJ, DC, TX
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following
- Digital Platform Product Management
- Ecosystem Product Leadership
- API and Data Product Strategy
- AI-Enabled Digital Products
- Digital Transformation Programs
- Familiarity with engineering systems such as CAD, PLM, MBSE, simulation, or digital twins
- Experience with API marketplaces, developer ecosystems, or platform governance
- Exposure to standards organizations, publishing, technical content, or enterprise knowledge systems
