Digital Platform Operations Specialist

Cloud Operations Engineer - Digital Platform Operations Specialist to join ABB's Industrial Automation Digital Organization. The role focuses on operating, monitoring, and supporting cloud-native applications hosted on Microsoft Azure, with hands-on experience in Docker and Kubernetes (preferably AKS) and supporting edge deployments in hybrid cloud ecosystems. Responsibilities include incident management, RCA, performance optimization, applying operational best practices, deployment and patch management, and ensuring security compliance. The position emphasizes collaboration with Development, DevOps, and Platform Engineering teams to ensure smooth release execution, on-call coverage, continuous improvement, and automation opportunities to enhance platform reliability and efficiency. The role requires 4–8 years of cloud operations experience, strong Linux and networking fundamentals, experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields. Hybrid work model with a base in Bangalore, India.
