Job Summary
The Digital Photographer Intern will be responsible for creating high-quality images for Felix Magazine, ensuring proper lighting, exposure, and color consistency. Key duties include working in a studio environment with stylists, preparing sets and equipment, archiving images, retouching photographs, and maintaining file organization. The candidate should possess strong technical skills in photography and editing software, along with qualities like teamwork and creativity. The role requires availability for 2-3 days a week for a commitment of 3 months and eligibility for school credit.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree
- Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for 3 months
- Previous experience in studio environment
- Proven experience with digital cameras and lighting
- High technical proficiency in PhotoShop, Capture One and networked computers
- Ability to work well within a team
- Detail oriented and creative
- Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of colour correction
- Strong understanding of image constraints
