Job Summary
Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of critical digital services supporting thousands of users, focusing on operational excellence across corporate systems. Manage major aspects of application support for Oracle Cloud, Staff Directory, and ERDM while reviewing support costs and managing contracts. Drive strategic leadership for the live running, development, and maintenance of a diverse portfolio of applications within the iTECS Digital Operations team. Coordinate branch projects, lead change programmes, and set strategy for overall budgetary control of services to ensure reliable, secure, and user-focused technology outcomes for colleagues and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Substantive C1 grade
- Core Scottish Government Staff
- Eligibility for Skilled Worker sponsorship
- Strategic leadership for the delivery, support and continual improvement of critical corporate services
- Application support for corporate systems such as Oracle Cloud, Staff Directory and ERDM
- Recommendations for the improvement of support operations and economies
- Reviewing support costs
- Managing contracts
- Leading change programmes
- Coordinating the branch's projects

- 40% of contracted working time working in person at their contractual workplace
