Job Summary
Part-Time Digital Media Specialist at St. Gerard Majella Parish and School responsible for creating and managing engaging digital and visual content to promote parish life. Focuses on social media, photography, video production, and emerging platforms to highlight events and foster engagement. 8-10 hours per week, with duties including capturing and editing photos/videos, managing the parish's social channels, developing multimedia content, livestreaming events as needed, collaborating with staff, and aligning messaging with Catholic identity.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in social media management, photography, and video production
- Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Strong visual storytelling and creative skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
- Practicing Catholic with an understanding of Catholic identity and mission
- Demonstrates pastoral sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism
- Passion for evangelization and community engagement
