Job Summary
Produce engaging digital content for USC Women's Basketball and Track & Field across multiple social media channels, including highlight packages, feature stories, and promotional material. Operate complex video and audio equipment to capture footage of programs and events, transport gear to various sites, and use hardware and software to edit and store digital content. Oversee and develop student workers while collaborating with social media, marketing, and creative staff to design and deliver video production within a fast-paced environment. Manage multiple parallel projects, provide regular status updates, and maintain a comprehensive digital content archive. This role requires full schedule flexibility, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and approximately 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience
- Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
- Demo reel or relevant projects
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere CC
- Proficient with FCP
- Proficient with writing
- Proficient with camera operation
- Proficient with sound recording
- Proficient with lighting
- Proficient with color grading
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Speed Grade, etc.)
- Knowledge of run and gun production
- Proven ability to design and deliver video production within a fast-paced, technologically-advanced environment and to deliver quality projects on time
- Capacity to manage multiple, in-parallel, fast-paced projects while interacting with different functional teams
- Ability to plan projects, work to timelines, and provide regular project status and updates
- Knowledge and passion for a variety of different sports
- Must be a team player with a great attitude
- Experience working in higher education and/or a sports related field
- Full schedule flexibility, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays
- Travel approximately 25% of the time
