Job Summary

Manage final delivery of the video commentary pilot by uploading assets across social channels and optimizing exports for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Format, convert, and troubleshoot video files to meet platform-specific technical constraints while maintaining organized digital workspaces via FTP and cloud storage. Assist with live stream setup and backend monitoring to ensure stable broadcasts, then track production timelines and coordinate schedules to keep the remote team aligned with daily deadlines. Provide operational support to producers and hosts to streamline workflows and solve logistical hurdles under tight breaking-news constraints.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in digital media operations, post-production coordination, social media management, or a project management support role within a fast-paced media environment
  • Experience troubleshooting and working in a remote production setup, supporting cross-functional teams (producers, editors, and hosts) under tight breaking-news constraints
  • Proven experience managing digital assets and workflows, including formatting, converting, and optimizing video exports (codecs, aspect ratios, file sizes) specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube
  • Hands-on proficiency with cloud storage and file transfer systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io, or FTP protocols) to maintain highly organized digital workspaces for remote teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a proven track record of managing digital workflows and scheduling deliverables in a fast-paced media environment
  • Solid foundational knowledge of video file formats, codecs, resolution settings, and compression techniques optimized for social platforms
  • Basic understanding of live streaming workflows and software (e.g., OBS, StreamYard, or platform-native live tools) to help coordinate real-time broadcasts
  • Extreme attention to detail with the ability to spot technical formatting errors or scheduling conflicts before content goes live
  • Excellent communication skills tailored for a fast-moving, fully remote production team operating under tight breaking-news constraints
  • Demonstrated project coordination skills, with experience utilizing project management tools (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Trello, or Airtable) to track production pipelines, manage delivery schedules, and meet tight daily deadlines
  • Basic literacy in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut) to assist with quick technical fixes or re-exports if needed
  • Familiarity with the brands and businesses of The Shade Room
  • An understanding of or interest in entertainment news, celebrity culture, and the fast-moving digital footprint of The Shade Room
