Job Summary
Digital Media Editor responsible for editing and formatting digital content for the National Foreign Affairs Training Center (NFATC) language curriculum, collaborating on LMS content, assisting in SLS Curriculum Design, and training staff on educational technology. Will ensure copyright compliance, establish editing workflows with content creators, and provide progress briefings to the COR/ACOR/GTM.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS, MA/MS, or Ph.D., or foreign equivalent degree in Graphic Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, etc.
- One (1) year of experience or education in Educational Technology or Digital Media Design
- One (1) year of experience using a Learning Management System as either an instructor or administrator
- Experience creating digital training materials: course content, teaching manuals, student guides, ebooks, and interactive media (video, audio, animation, digital text)
- Experience using Office and Graphic Design Applications (Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud apps)
- Knowledge of basic computer skills: e.g., email, Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with online meeting software (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, Webex)
