Job Summary
Design and produce high-quality visual and video assets for social media, marketing, and promotional use across Discord, Telegram, Patreon, Bluesky, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube. Create short-form video content, motion graphics, and engaging posters while editing and enhancing existing photos and videos for marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the Community Manager to develop templates, streamline content creation, and adapt materials for various platforms. Organize asset libraries, optimize file sizes, and provide basic performance insights on content effectiveness. Report to the Community Manager and Director of Operations. This freelance position offers flexible hours, with a commitment of four hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in graphic design, video editing, and digital content creation
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator), or similar enterprise-grade tools
- Ability to create engaging social media content, including posters, motion graphics, and short-form video (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
- Basic understanding of social media trends and how to tailor content for different platforms
- Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Community Manager and Director of Operations
- Design and produce eye-catching graphics, posters, and digital assets for use across Discord, Telegram, Patreon, Bluesky, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
- Create short-form video content for social media (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and motion graphics for engagement
- Edit and enhance existing photos/videos for marketing use
- Work closely with the Community Manager to ensure content aligns with brand identity and engagement strategy
- Develop templates and reusable assets to streamline content creation
- Assist in adapting content for various social media platforms
- Organize and maintain a library of assets (graphics, videos, animations) for easy access by the Community Manager
- Optimize video and image file sizes for different platforms without losing quality
- Collect feedback from the Community Manager and revise assets as needed
- Provide basic performance insights on content effectiveness (which posts/videos perform best, engagement levels, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- No formal education required, but experience in digital media, graphic design, video editing, or marketing is a plus
