Job Summary
Digital Marketing Executive -Social Media focused on bringing British Airways Holidays content to life across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Owns the day-to-day execution of social posts from idea through publishing, editing assets as needed, and ensuring posts are on-brand, accurate and engaging.Responsibilities include creating engaging social posts from travel stories and experiences, editing imagery and short-form video content with tools like CapCut, Edits, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop, adapting content for various channels, collaborating with Brand, Marketing, Product & Sourcing teams to secure approvals, monitoring audience conversations, reviewing performance, and applying trend insights to improve future activity. Requires hands-on experience in a consumer-brand context, strong understanding of brand governance, and a proactive, collaborative approach to content creation and optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Experience creating and publishing social media posts across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)
- Hands-on experience combining copy, imagery and video content
- Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Edits, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to work within established brand guidelines, governance and approval processes
- Strong understanding of social media performance metrics and ability to leverage insights to improve content
- Curiosity about social media trends and platform developments
- Excellent collaboration with stakeholders across Brand, Marketing, Product & Sourcing, and other teams
- Attention to copyright, GDPR compliance and content accuracy
