Job Summary
Digital Learning and Dissemination Specialist - Build and maintain NCDB webpages and microsites within a content management system, apply information architecture and UX principles, and ensure digital accessibility standards. Provide user support for the NCDB website, create electronic content for information dissemination and training, organize and post social media and messaging campaigns, perform simple video editing, and support learning module registration and webinar coordination. Manage tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Freedcamp, and Mailchimp; assist staff with these tools; ensure WCAG compliance across webpages, documents, slides, photos/videos, and online meetings. Collaborate virtually with NCDB’s ITS team, follow product development processes, and support additional duties as requested by leadership. Requires a Bachelor’s in Instructional Design and Technology and at least one year of related experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; comfort with independent and collaborative work in virtual environments; and knowledge of accessibility principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Instructional Design and Technology
- Minimum of one year doing similar work
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications to develop documents and presentations
- Comfortable providing ongoing feedback and revisions to ensure high-quality publications, website, and materials
- Ability to work independently and in virtual environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of accessibility principles
- Experience with creating electronic content for information dissemination, professional development, and training
