Digital Innovation Engineer

Digital Innovation Engineer at Buckman contributes to the company’s digital strategy by collaborating with the digital team, stakeholders and external partners on regional/global projects. Responsibilities include delivering complex global digital projects that enhance customer experience, acting as a technical leader on software and/or hardware initiatives, guiding product lifecycle from idea through MVP to deployment, producing key documentation, reviewing SOWs with external partners, and delivering across focus areas such as sensor development, automation and controls, backend/frontend development, IoT, data engineering/analytics, mobile development, or data science. The role emphasizes collaboration across global teams (R&D, Marketing, Sales) to align digital direction with Buckman 4.0 strategy, driving an innovative culture, and applying emerging methods and tools. Requires strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork, with a preference for candidates who demonstrate ability to learn and apply new technologies, and who can present information effectively to management and public groups.
