Digital Inclusion Specialist

Job Summary
Develop and deliver an employment digital inclusion curriculum monthly while serving as a 1:1 coach for individual, needs-based digital literacy training centered on employment. Research resources to promote digital literacy and mitigate barriers related to technology access or knowledge. Connect clients with job fair opportunities and coach them on etiquette, interview tips, and follow-up communication. Assist in building employer relationships and update goal outputs with accuracy to track outcomes. Coordinate program activities across departments and attend meetings as required. Serve during regular hours Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend service in a hybrid environment involving up to 50% local travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass Criminal History Checks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience and/or interest in working in a culturally diverse environment
- Excellent computer skills, accurate typing, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have the ability to communicate with all people in a culturally competent manner
- Conviction about the capacity of people to grow and change
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Must be available for occasional evening and weekend service
- Must be available for local travel up to 50%
- Must be available for regular in-office days weekly
- Must be available to perform service functions at outposted locations as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, business, social science, or social work
- Experience working with a diverse staff and/or volunteers
- Familiarity with major Atlanta employers, public transportation, and neighborhoods
- Experience with human services programs
- Reads, writes, and speaks a relevant foreign language
