Job Summary
Develop fundraising goals with existing content creators on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram while cultivating relationships and educating them on Heart mission initiatives. Recruit new creators to expand the volunteer pipeline and create collateral materials to support program growth. Manage and implement strategies to drive revenue and engagement toward annual income targets, increasing peer-to-peer fundraising across platforms. Collaborate with National and Regional counterparts, utilizing Microsoft Suite and streaming tools to execute campaigns. Requires 3 years of fundraising experience, proficiency in gaming culture, and willingness to travel 1-3 times yearly.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent type experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledgeable with gaming/streaming platforms including TwitchTV, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram
- Must be comfortable making phone calls, reaching out via email and using Discord to effectively communicate with external and internal Association customers
- Willingness and ability to travel 1-3 times a year to National Center, and conferences as needed
- Ability to lift and or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving
Desired Qualifications
- University/College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Understanding of gaming culture and content creator space
- Experience in peer-to-peer fundraising
- Demonstrated community organization skills with the ability to recruit, train and lead volunteers effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly consumer-oriented writing
- Project management - consistent track record of meeting deadlines
- Excellent design and creative communication development skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the willingness to work with all social strata, occupations, and backgrounds
- Presentation skills for small and large groups
- Ability to work as part of an integrated team
