Job Summary
Review job tickets, set up and adjust finishing equipment including laser tables, Zund, laminators, and routers, and cut products to final size. Monitor output quality, collect data for tracking, and report issues while maintaining productivity and safety standards. Perform preventative maintenance on finishing equipment and material handling tools, ensuring a clean, clutter-free workplace. Work independently in a fast-paced production environment, prioritizing multiple projects and collaborating with the Production Manager to address improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- four years relevant industry experience
- experience as an Imagine temporary employee
- manager approval to hire full-time
- Ability to communicate/understand written and oral instructions
- Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish color
- Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Basic measuring skills including Standard and Metric units
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent walking and standing
- Manual dexterity for repetitive work
- Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping
- Work overtime as needed
- Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction
- A positive attitude including high energy, and a drive to contribute and make an impact
- Able to perform complex tasks, prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to move material via material handling equipment (may entail use of forklift/pallet jacks)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution, and/or fulfillment
- Experience using an ERP system
