Job Summary
Conduct installations for Point-of-Sale and hardware in restaurant or retail environments, perform wellness visits, and execute maintenance checks across the New Orleans/Baton Rouge region. Travel weekly with a company vehicle, sometimes driving daily to cover all local markets. Use small electric, cordless, and hand tools while climbing ladders up to 12 feet, walking up to a half mile, and lifting objects up to 100 lbs. Maintain basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge, troubleshooting technical issues and configuring network systems. Requires a valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license, passing criminal background checks, and pre-hire and ongoing random drug testing. Full-time role with health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401K, PTO, and a fully funded degree through Point University.
Required Qualifications
- weekly travel with company vehicle within the local market
- daily driving to cover all restaurants in a certain market
- Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Technical troubleshooting abilities
- Valid REAL ID-compliant Driver's License
- Ability to pass Criminal Background Checks
- Ability to pass pre-hire drug testing and on-going random drug testing
- experience working with basic hand tools and drills
- Ability to walk distances up to a half mile
- Ability to work while standing on concrete surface continuously 8-10 hours
- Ability to work while bending, squatting and kneeling
- Ability to work while extending your arms/hands overhead
- Ability to sit in automobile, train or airplane for extended period of time
- Use of small electric, cordless and hand tools
- Climbing and work on ladders up to 12 feet
- Lifting objects up to 100 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Restaurant or related customer service field experience
- Point of Sale System Exposure/Experience
- CAT-5 cabling experience
- Knowledge of configuring a network system
