Job Summary
Digital Experience Lead role providing authoritative direction for digital platforms, governing accessibility (USWDS/508), and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver secure, modern, user-centered digital experiences. Responsibilities include setting priorities, overseeing design/development/integration/sustainment of enterprise web platforms, managing Agile sprint execution and CI/CD, establishing technical standards, translating mission needs into requirements, coordinating with UX/UI/analytics/content teams, driving modernization and automation (including AI-assisted tools), producing technical documentation, and monitoring security and performance. Requirements include US citizenship and government clearance eligibility, a Bachelor’s in IT or related field, 3+ years leading teams, 8+ years in senior web/application development, proficiency in ASP.NET/C#/HTML/CSS/JS/SQL/XML, Drupal experience, API integrations, and strong leadership in Agile/DevOps. Preferred qualifications include federal digital service frameworks experience, AI/tools automation, modernization leadership, federal/public sector experience, UX/UI governance, cloud/DevSecOps familiarity. Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum 3 years leading a technical, development, or digital experience team
- At least 8 years of experience in senior-level web or application development roles
- Proficiency in enterprise web development technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, XML, and modern front end tools
- Experience with CMS platforms, digital content workflows, analytics, and structured data implementation
- Proven experience with Drupal development and architecture, along with broader experience across web/content platforms
- Experience with API integrations, JSON/XML, DNS, and performance monitoring tools
- Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-platform technical issues and guide resolution
- Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments emphasizing automation and continuous improvement
