Job Summary
Digital Engagement Strategist III responsible for aligning digital engagement with the organization’s mission, creating compelling online content, and managing social media across major platforms. Leads analytics-driven strategies to grow web traffic and brand awareness, demonstrates expert writing and communications skills, and supports national/international events. Requires experience with CMS and analytics tools, ability to travel for ONR events, and a Secret security clearance. Overtime exempt; relocation not available. Reports to ARMADA HQ. Ballston/Arlington, VA-based in-person role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma (preferred in communications or journalism)
- At least ten (10) years of experience as a communicator or writer in support of organizational goals
- Proficient with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) and influencer campaigns
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, metadata management, and CMS tools
- Excellent professional writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write effectively for online applications
- Ability to travel in support of ONR events
- Knowledge of digital content creation and multimedia for diverse audiences
- Security clearance: Secret (required)
- Overtime exempt status
- Bachelor's degree may be waived with 15+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and related software
- Experience managing online engagement and increasing traffic to digital properties
Desired Qualifications
