Job Summary
Role focuses on driving strategic digital enablement initiatives to strengthen the enterprise banking international business. You will engage internal Operations and Technology, Marketing, Product and business unit stakeholders across core markets to deliver a digital-enabled ecosystem, deepen customer engagement, and capture ASEAN–China business flows. Collaborate with product specialists to develop and implement customized financial solutions, and work with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery. Core activities include digital enablement in strategic partnership development with regional channels, growing Greater China–ASEAN flow, building an AI/Data/Digital value proposition for underserved Chinese and international corporates expanding to ASEAN, driving a unified “One Connect” branding to meet regional objectives, and leveraging market intelligence to identify growth opportunities. Strong emphasis on customer-centric thinking, independent execution, cross-country collaboration, and risk awareness to navigate regulatory considerations across markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience
- Understand modern architectures such as microservices, event streaming, and multi-region systems
- Understand payment systems, processing, and industry trends (e.g. digital payments, payment gateways)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
- Genuine interest in building people to meet strategic needs
- Experience in the financial and corporate banking space is an advantage
- Ability to think strategically and ‘connect the dots’ to identify regional opportunities from a digital perspective
- Strong risk awareness including regulatory considerations in different markets
- Cultural sensitivity and can work well with colleagues in different countries
