Job Summary
Partner with Project Engineers and Project Managers to support the design, modeling, and documentation of diverse building types and structural systems. Execute Building Information Modeling of structural components and contribute to the development of construction documentation through all design phases. Review, coordinate, and process construction administration documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements while developing and maintaining BIM Standards. Proactively identify design and documentation challenges to develop effective, practical solutions. Collaborate with Project Leaders and Managing Directors to gain mentorship and exposure to project leadership within a multidisciplinary environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4–15 years of experience across all phases of building design projects, with an emphasis on structural drafting and BIM modeling
- Proficiency in CAD and Revit
- Strong commitment to collaborating within a multidisciplinary design environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality construction documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, while contributing innovative ideas to project design and execution
- Ability to follow and uphold LPA standards and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Computer Drafting and Design (or related field)
