Job Summary

Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Review IP microarchitecture features and interface specifications with microarchitect and/or senior engineers. Modify IP to replace coded hardware structures with standardized structures for clock-domain crossing (CDC), design-for-test (DFT), clocks and resets. Execute RTL-to-RTL logic equivalency checks (LEC) and perform design quality checks, including Lint, clock domain crossing (CDC) analysis, static timing analysis (STA), and Reset domain crossing (RDC). Collaborate with verification team to develop test plans, complete verification execution to 100% coverage, and track metrics including development plan milestones, code and functional coverage, and defect tickets. Deliver completed IP, including RTL design and quality signoff evidence.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field
  • Knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, thesis, internship or related occupation involving: 1. Programming languages Python, C/C++
  • Knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, thesis, internship or related occupation involving: 2. Verilog and System Verilog
  • Knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, thesis, internship or related occupation involving: 3. UVM and Functional Verification
  • Knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, thesis, internship or related occupation involving: 4. Computer Architecture
  • Knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, thesis, internship or related occupation involving: 5. Synopsis Design Vision
  • Knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, thesis, internship or related occupation involving: 6. RTL Design
  • Knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, thesis, internship or related occupation involving: 7. Microprocessor System Design and Digital Systems Design
