Job Summary
Create digital content for Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council's social media, website, and internal communications by taking photos, shooting video, and planning campaigns. Use analytics to guide decision-making and ensure content reaches diverse audiences while remaining accessible. Lead discussions on content strategy with the Communications Team, maintaining political awareness and creative standards. This role involves frequent travel across rural districts and requires a full UK driving licence. Hybrid working arrangements are supported where business needs permit.
Required Qualifications
- proven track record of delivering engaging video and pictures for a business or organisation
- clear understanding of what makes good content

- awareness of the types of content that a local authority could and should be sharing with residents and staff
- ability to make content accessible and engaging
- confidence with good communication and IT skills
