Job Summary

Write, edit, and review new digital content for AAP websites and platforms, ensuring alignment with style guidelines, clarity, and accessibility. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on grant-funded campaigns, identify subject matter experts, and route materials for technical review. Implement editorial strategies, maintain editorial calendars and databases, and optimize content using SEO/GEO best practices to increase discoverability. Monitor site traffic and performance analytics to generate reports on content reach and impact. Maintain a positive, cooperative team environment while managing multiple projects within strict deadlines. This role supports pediatrician and parent audiences by translating complex medical and policy information into engaging content.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, digital media or related field
  • Equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
  • At least three years' related experience in digital content development
  • Experience working with authors
