Job Summary
Create high-quality copy for websites, marketing materials, and digital vehicles while managing multiple projects efficiently. Develop the Industry Digest newsletter weekly, write staff emails monthly, and produce original website content including the employee directory. Coordinate delivery of bylines for earned media and articles for the Building Safety Journal, and execute internal email marketing initiatives. Lead writing for C-suite keynote speeches and Building Safety Month webpages, while proofreading all department content and eblasts. Monitor the ICC Communications inbox and review the Weekly Roundup newsletter. Support the Senior Digital Content Manager and ICC Communications team with special assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Knowledge of design and visual principles with the ability to evaluate design choices critically, keeping the customer in mind
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several multifaceted projects and correlating deadlines at once
- Excellent proofreading skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with AP style
- Experience with Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Monday.com and WordPress
- Be able to take feedback and make necessary changes as requested by client/stakeholder/manager
- Must be able to work full-time (Remote position)
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or desk
- Occasional standing, walking, and reaching to access files or office supplies
- Manual dexterity for typing, filing, and handling office equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, documents)
- Visual acuity to read printed and digital materials
- Auditory ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
- Ability to travel up to 20% annually

- Experience in basic video production a plus
