Job Summary
Draft and post social media content, create static and motion graphic assets using Canva, and independently schedule posts following content calendars. Upload blog articles and draft web pages within the CMS, while monitoring digital trends to guide marketing strategies. Lead content capture for organic social media, attend events for live coverage and interviews, and actively contribute to team brainstorm sessions. Provide administrative support to the marketing communications team as needed. This role supports the Kogod School of Business enrollment initiatives and brand awareness through collaborative content creation.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled American University student

- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all outputs
- Digital Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms and pulse on what's trending in the digital sphere
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Part-time availability (20 hours per week)
