Job Summary
Lead BIM and VDC implementation across assigned projects, establishing execution plans and managing detailed 3D models to ensure constructability and minimize rework. Conduct clash detection and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors using digital platforms to resolve design conflicts during preconstruction. Optimize planning, scheduling, and cost estimation through VDC methodologies and simulation techniques while providing training on best practices and emerging technologies. Work primarily in office environments with site visits for field layout and project support, requiring occasional travel across the U.S. and Denver, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle phases
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms
- Working knowledge of Total Station tools for field layout
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Aided Drafting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and applied experience
- Progressive experience leading BIM/VDC efforts within the construction industry
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- This position may require occasional travel to project sites throughout the United States and to company headquarters in Denver, CO, as needed for project support, collaboration, training, and business operations.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with BIM automation tools or scripting (e.g., Dynamo preferred)
- Electrical construction experience preferred
- Certifications in BIM VDC-related technologies are a plus
