Job Summary
Shape communication across the website, app, landing pages, email, and other digital channels by executing church-wide initiatives and ministry priorities. Partner with Rock, Creative, Social Media, and ministry teams to deliver clear, effective digital content while identifying and developing stories of life change. Bring a strategic, marketing-minded perspective to recommend ideas that strengthen Summit's online presence and invite engagement with the mission. This role requires 40 hours per week, with mandatory service at church-wide events including Easter, Christmas, and prayer meetings. The ideal candidate possesses strong writing skills, familiarity with Rock RMS, and is a member of The Summit Church or willing to become one.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- A strategic, marketing-minded approach to digital communication with the ability to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Personal integrity and evidence of ongoing spiritual growth, as expected of all church employees (church attendance, small group membership, tithing, etc.).
- A member of The Summit Church or willing and able to become a member
- All staff members are expected to serve at church-wide events regardless of the positions they hold.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Rock RMS is preferred.
- Familiarity with website content management, email marketing, SEO, or digital analytics is preferred.
